In February, the ABC of Wyoming Board of Directors mandated that Committees be activated to take care of some of the highest priority issues facing the association.

At the Annual Convention in Cody, many members stepped up and signed up for committee work. 

Committee participation is not limited only to owners, but is also open to any employee of an ABC of Wyoming member.  Committees will meet regularly, every other month or so, but most work will take place as a member’s time allows.

EDUCATION & TRAINING COMMITTEE MISSION: To organize educational seminars and events for members.  To implement and oversee training and apprenticeship programs. To oversee scholarship fundraising, awarding & administration.

LEGISLATIVE  & REGULATORY AFFAIRS COMMITTEEMISSION: To oversee legislative activities of the association, including lobbying efforts, reviewing legislation, & proposing legislation.  To develop association positions & statements.  To oversee activities &  relationships with state and local government agencies.

 MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE MISSION: To direct efforts to increase membership.  To oversee member meeting planning & organization.

SAFETY COMMITTEE MISSION: To implement and oversee Safety initiatives and programs within the Association.  To cooperate with state and local agencies to enhance safety programs throughout the state.
