ABC of Wyoming Scholarship Applications are now available. At least one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding individual pursuing education and/or training in a construction related field. Applications are due July 31st, 2009.
The purpose of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Wyoming Scholarship is to enhance and expand Wyoming’s construction industry workforce through promoting careers in skilled trades and construction related careers through furthering the education of outstanding individuals pursuing education and/or training in construction related fields.
At least one $1000 annual scholarship shall be awarded to an outstanding individual who is, or will be, actively enrolled in a skilled trade program directly related to the building construction industry (i.e. Construction Technology, Carpentry, Electrical Apprenticeship, etc.). More than one scholarship may be awarded depending on availability of funds. Scholarship winner(s) must enroll in a program at a Wyoming accredited college, university, trade school, or apprenticeship recognized and authorized by the State of Wyoming. The scholarship may be used to defray tuition, supplies, room and board, or other college, university, trade school or program expense.
